Eric burris biography

He joined the station in and has served the station for over a decade. He later joined Mississippi State University where he graduated with a degree in Geosciences and Broadcast Meteorology. He is thrilled to be forecasting for his family, friends, and native Winter Park. Burris launched his career working for another Orlando TV station while he was still a high schooler.

His hunger for meteorology steered him toward an internship program at Seminole County Public Schools.

Eric burris biography: “Eric is an incredible young talent.

After graduating high school, he assisted in broadcasting hurricanes Charley, Frances, Jeanne, and Wilma. These experiences prepared him for his transition from off-screen to on-screen work. A year later, he helped WESH to broadcast the awful Groundhog Day tornadoes and began filling in on weekends at the station before he joined the station full-time.

He has always wanted to do weather and also enjoys linking through social media and holding conversations on Facebook. Burris likes to keep his personal life private and hence has not yet disclosed the year and month he was born. It is therefore not known when he celebrates his birthday.
